One life experience we all share is on the value of free information. Free lottery information is no different. Good information costs something. The old saying there is no such thing as a free lunch applies here. If I am offered free lottery information, one of two things is going to happen. Either the information has the same value as its cost or it is a bait and switch tactic.
No one is going to give free lottery information that is worth anything. If the information has value, it is simple human nature to keep that information. When free lottery information is offered it is insulting. The maker of the offer doesn’t think the recipient of the information (you) will recognize the information is either out of date, incorrect, or that by acting as an authority figure, they think they can sell you something.
Bait and switch tactics have been refined in the internet age. With internet marketing, the upsell is a sophisticated version of this tried and true sales tactic. Here is what happens. You are online. You go to the website that is offering the “free lottery information”. Your email address plus other information is extracted before you can get to the free information. When you give up your personal information, the upsell can begin. Maybe you were offered some bait for your personal information of maybe you gave up your information for huay free. Either way you are very vulnerable.
You have invested your time and effort to get this free information. Now the website has an add on you need to purchase. Remember you haven’t been given this free information yet. You are given the impression you must obey or you won’t get the” free lottery information”. If you refuse, many websites are not programmed properly for a refusal, and you will never be able to access your free information. If you try to exit the website at this point, you might have to repeat the exit procedure multiple times. Each loop through the attempted exit you will be offered something, but until you have experienced this repetition, the angst it will create for all but the most experienced user is enough to make many people give up their payment information. Ouch, the “free lottery information” is no longer “free lottery information”.
The upsell process is under way. Now, some other essential action will require another purchase, and you are caught in this upsell process. By the time the free lottery information is available, you may have been through four or five upsells, and the free lottery information is anything but free.
In the “before the internet era”, a baiting with a printed ad would draw you to the retailer. When you entered the domain of the retailer, you were upsold with bait and switch techniques. Now that we are in the internet era, the upsell looks different, but it is exactly the same thing. Once the domain of the internet marketer is entered, exiting unscarred is not easy. Free lottery information is no longer free.
Simple survival instincts need to kick in. You are going to invest in the lottery. Do what other successful lottery players do, invest in information that gives you an edge. Pay a little bit for good information, and vastly improve your chances of winning.
